Want to know when shirts are for sale?
Grivwear was built on equal parts grit, humor, and hope.
Before starting this project, I spent 15 years as a professional tattoo artist and shop owner, and nearly two decades as a project and program manager. Along the way, I have helped create, grow, and lead several nonprofit initiatives, community programs, and events - always drawn to the intersection of creativity, structure, and community impact.
About ten years ago, life changed dramatically when I became significantly disabled. In a short time, I lost my ability to work, my business, and even my home. The journey since then has been one of rebuilding - learning how to live with disability, adapting, and finding new ways to thrive.
Today, I’m close to earning my third degree (I have an undergraduate in Business Management and Social Work and I'm working on a graduate degree in Social Work with the intention of pursuing my doctorate) and preparing to reenter the workforce. A critical part of that success has been my PASS (Plan to Achieve Self-Support) account, which gives people with disabilities a pathway to pursue education, careers, and independence without losing essential benefits.
Grivwear was created to pass that opportunity forward. Every shirt we sell is more than just a clever print...it’s a step toward helping someone else break through barriers, regain independence, and move toward a brighter future.
Wear the joke. Share the hope.
